Better if the incomplete quests were removed or grayed-out.

It's aggravating to go to through all that effort only to find that your inventory is full of items you can't sell, craft with, or give to the NPC who asked for them. The problem with this is that you can select the mission in an NPC's mission list, and you won't know you can't finish it until it's too late. Not all missions are ready to go, either. For now, all trips are on foot or through the few teleporting areas. Riding animals have yet to be implemented, but pack animals are available.

A few weeks after the game's release, and still not everything listed in the manual is ready to go. I found it easiest to put my chat box at the top of my screen, remove the separate system information box, which then creates a tab within the chat box, and move my action bar to the bottom.

The user tab is the most useful, since it allows you to view all of the previous tabs, plus your system information box in one spot. One tab represents the area around you, another represents the region, and yet another shows your team if you're teamed up, your guild if you're affiliated with one, and finally a user tab. One thing you'll notice specific to the GUI is that the chat box has several individual tabs. The GUI initially takes up a large chunk of your screen, so it's good to figure out which boxes you can get rid of, which you need to keep, and which ones you can resize to take up less of your screen. Any of the boxes can be removed, so if you find some are less useful under most circumstances, just get rid of them. Not all of the goo spots are clickable.Ryzom's GUI is completely configurable and you can save multiple desktop configurations. To sabotage them using the Healing Mixture, double click them (or right-click, Give 1 Item). The goo spots don't show up on the radar, nor can you find them using /tar - just look around, they look like purple rocks, surrounded by pink mist. Don't get too close to the Chlorogoos - they eat homin. The Chlorogoos, and their goo spots, are north of the Shining Lake.

Forage 10 x Plain Dead Leaf, at least q20.The Merry Harvester The Merry Harvester #1 The mission will trigger if you get into the flat area behind the hills and in front of the building, but you will almost surely get aggro from the gingos. Note: The crates will not drop anything if you are in a team. There are several crates in the area with no name, with which you can not interact. "Search the bandit crates" means "Find item-mobs named crate and kill them". Tips: You will need to buy Harmful Extraction 20 from the trainer for this mission! Once you've bought it, edit your digging action to use it. The Shattered Ruins The Shattered Ruins #1 You should be able to find it at the blue flag on your map, a little way south of the E in "Karavan Embassy". I'll still get you there though as basic and higher grade materials are often found in close proximity to each other. Remember that tracking is not an exact art! Tracking will take you to roughly the right area, but you will still have to hunt around a bit for the mat.Īlso remember that the tracking stanza you trained is set up for finding basic materials by default. Use Deposit Tracking to find, and dig, some Fine Zun Amber, just south of the camp.Buy 50m Deposit Tracking from the harvest trainer, then speak to Milles.If you have difficulty look around that area - basic prospecting only looks literally right in front of you. Buy Prospection for Fine Materials Only from the Harvest TrainerĪ blue flag on your map, to the north of the camp, shows you where to find the materials.Go to the hill upon which Chiang the Strong stands, and use your prospecting action there to find the seeds. Forage 3 x Basic Caprice Seed, at least q1.
These are material sources - extract them to get your materials. If you go out behind the camp, near the cliff, you will see sparkly green eruptions sticking out of the ground.
